Abstract
HOUSE MODELS PRODUCED IN THE BALKANS BETWEEN 6500-3900 BC
It is remarkable that prehistoric house models, which we encounter in Anatolia in very few numbers, are frequently found in the Balkans. House models are mostly schematic representations of houses and are also a significant part of the Neolithic period rituals. Various opinions have been claimed regarding the purpose of making house models. In particular, anthropomorphic house models found in the Balkans are often associated with beliefs.
